RS Project

REMOTE SENSING PROJECTS:

Jiya Infotech has proven expertise in interpretation of any satellite images commercially available in the market with varied resolutions. Our Technical team has proven their technical expertise in various projects executed by us including high resolution images. Some of our executed project details are given below:

RIVER MORPHODYNAMIC CHANGES:

    Scope of Work:
  • To investigate the morphological aspects such as channel geometry, fluid dynamics and hydraulic geometry of the basin area.

  • To study the changes of channel capacity width, depth, meander, etc

  • To study the discharge of water and sediment and also its effect on bank erosion.

  • To propose the rational management for the abatement of erosion and protection for river bank

    Using Data:
  • Topo-sheet Map (1:50000)
  • Soil map
  • SRTM data
  • LISS-III Satellite Image
GROUND WATER POTENTIAL ZONE:

    Using Data:
  • Topo-sheet Map (1:50000)
  • Rainfall data
  • Temperature data
  • LISS-III Satellite Image
SATELLITE BASED BAUXITE MAPPING

    Scope of Work:
  • The lateritic bauxites are found mostly in the countries of the tropics. They were formed by lateralization various silicate rocks such as granite, gneiss, basalt, syenite, and shale.

  • To study and analyze the spectral signatures of bauxite deposits at Serendag Plateau and surrounding areas

  • To find greater application of spectral remote sensing techniques in mineral exploration

  • In comparison with the iron-rich laterite, the formation of bauxites demands even more intense weathering conditions in a location with very good drainage. This enables the dissolution of the kaolinite and the precipitation of the gibbsite.

  • Zones with highest aluminum content are frequently located below a ferruginous surface layer.

  • The aluminum hydroxide in the lateritic bauxite deposits is almost exclusively gibbsite.

    Using Data:
  • Topo-sheet Map (1:50000)
  • Rainfall data
  • ASTER data
  • LISS-III Satellite Image
  • ASTER DEM
COAL FIRES IDENTIFICATION AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

    Scope of Work
  • Identification of Coal fires detection

  • Identification of Effect or damage to coal mining infrastructure or surrounding infrastructure

  • Identification of Degradation of the land and vegetation and damage to the ecological system

  • Impact of coal fire in the environment

    Using Data:
  • Topo-sheet Map (1:50000)
  • ASTER data
  • LISS-III Satellite Image
  • Landsat-7 ETM+
  • ASTER DEM
    Scope of Work
  • Atmospherics correction
  • Image rectification
  • Image Classification in Different years
  • Identification of different class in different images
    Using Data:
  • Topo-sheet Map (1:50000)
  • High or low resolution Data (like- LISS –III, ).
